Payment Gateway (Philippines)

Is there any chance you can integrate payment gateway in the Philippines like Gcash,Paymaya,coins.ph. Thank you.

Hello Angelo,

Yes, I’ve heard that GCash is very popular in the Philippines! We plan to start with GCash first, followed by PayMaya.

Once the integration is ready, you’ll just need to sign up with GCash for Business as a merchant or partner. They’ll provide you with an API token, which you can enter into Zima.

Here’s how the payment flow will typically work:

  • Zima creates a payment request via the API.
  • The subscriber pays using their GCash mobile app.
  • GCash sends a callback/webhook to confirm the payment (or possibly via API polling — we’ll confirm this part later).

Once payment is confirmed, Zima will:

  • Mark the invoice as paid
  • Extend or renew the subscription
  • Send a confirmation message to the user

Other features that would be implemented:

  • Sending payment reminders
  • QR codes
  • Tracking failed payments

Right now, we’re finalizing Two-Factor Authentication (planned for release in the next few days). After that, we’ll address some permission and billing improvements, and then we’ll move on to GCash integration.

Let me know what you think of the process — do you see anything we should adjust or add? I’d love to hear your feedback.

This is great! The billing process is seamless. Thanks Zima devs. keep up the good work.
