Dear Team can we block specfic url for specfic user using Zima
Currently this is not available in Zima. We could add such a feature, it is theoretically possible.
So how do you plan to have this block list through the service plan? or you want to set it on the level of a specific user?
If you could elaborate further so we understand this use case better.
If any other users think this is useful for you or you have similar use cases please share.
It would be nice to have a way to implement packages like Video only, so the user can only use YouTube, Or social media, the user can only use WhatsApp of Facebook.
Interesting use case. It would fit nice in the service plan settings. For example a section where the blocklist could be edited.
Maybe a toggle switch to "allow list " instead of “block list”. Allow mode works opposite to Block mode. It only allows services/websites/apps specified in the allow list.
Any use case that requires blocking for a specific user? probably not necessary because the “service plan level” could cover it too. For example setting the service plan to a subscriber, he will be subjected to the rules specified for this service plan.
Feel free to brainstorm other use cases or suggest other potential uses or adaptations of this feature.
I have it already in place as to some of my hotspots are setup like that. You are correct it is like a Allow list and block list. it would be grate to have these implemented into one cloud.
