Is there any reason why the zima cloud platform doesn’t use HTTPS for transport encryption?

HTTPS is going to be enabled very soon. It is on our priority list. Stay tuned!

Any news in this regard? It’s 2017 and there’s virtually no reason why your platform should not have transport encryption enabled (even though it is currently being tested). Hint: Letsencrypt is going to make wildcard certificates available this coming Q1/2018. Worth a look!

Btw. the same goes for your forum and website; there’s really no reason why you shouldn’t have HTTPS in place. You may want to check out the SSL/TLS best practice deployment guide of ssllabs!
