FAQ: How to replace an old / damaged router?

In case your router is damaged or otherwise unresponsive, you may need to replace it. The replacement process is straightforward.

1. Make sure the new router has access to the internet (default route and DNS).

2. Login as admin

3. Go to the Routers page
   

   

4. Edit the router that is disconnected (Router A in this example):
   

   

5. Copy Connection Script:
   

   

6. Paste in Terminal of your new router:
   

   
   
   

7. Wait a few minutes and the router configuration will be restored.
   Subscribers will reconnect shortly afterwards.
